Ginger Gold Apples

Ginger Gold is one of the first apple varieties we pick each summer and a customer favorite for fresh eating. This Virginia apple was discovered nearby in Nelson County and has since become a popular early-season variety.

The apples are crisp and juicy with a sweet, refreshing flavor and just a little tartness. The flesh also resists browning after slicing, making Ginger Gold a great choice for salads, lunchboxes, and fruit trays.

Pick-your-own apples are not currently available. Dates will be announced once we’re better able to determine when the apples will be ready for picking. We appreciate your patience as we work to ensure the best possible fruit and picking experience.

When you visit Morris Orchard you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the small farm atmosphere. We grow Apples, Peaches, Blueberries, Blackberries, Pumpkins, and press  Fresh Apple Cider.
